What We Believe About Jesus and the Rapture
ABOUT JESUS
- Jesus is GOD and became man (John 1:1-2, 14)
- Jesus died for us on a cross (1 Peter 3:18)
- Jesus was resurrected from the dead (Romans 4:25)
- Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven (John 14:6)
- Jesus will come soon to take His Church to be with him forever (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12, 20)
ABOUT SALVATION
- You must be Born Again (John 3:7)
- We are all sinners (Romans 3:23)
- We are all condemned to death (Romans 6:23)
- Good works, deeds and baptism will not save you from hell (Galatians 2:16; Galations 3:26; Ephesians 2:8-9)
- Faith in Jesus alone by Grace leads to salvation; Jesus saves through faith! (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- Jesus had to shed his blood and die to atone for our sins (Leviticus 17:11; Hebrews 9:22)
- You must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (the only way) and believe in the resurrection to be saved (Romans 10:9-10)
- You must also repent of your sins and be converted to be saved (Acts 3:19)
- You must place your entire faith in Jesus and the Bible to be saved (Ephesians 2:8; John 1:1)
ABOUT THE RAPTURE
- The Rapture will take place prior to the seven year Tribulation (Revelation 4:1; 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7-8; Revelation 3:10)
- Only those that believe on Jesus as the ONLY WAY will be Raptured and taken out before the seven year Tribulation (Matthew 25:1-13; Revelation 3:10)
- Jesus taught about the Rapture of His believers and commanded we watch for His return with all diligence (Matthew 24:36-51; Matthew 25:1-13)
- Believers will be transformed and changed to be like Jesus at the Rapture (Philippians 3:21)
- The Lord will descend from Heaven with a shout (Revelation 4:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:16), with the voice of an Archangel and the trumpet of GOD -- not a trumpet of an angel (1Thessalonians 4:16)
- The dead who believed in Jesus will rise first (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
- We who are alive at the time of the Rapture and who have believed that Jesus saves will be caught up in the air and forever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
- The Rapture is our great hope and comfort (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

ABOUT THE TRIBULATION
- Shortly after the Rapture, a seven year period known in the Bible as the Great Tribulation will take place (Daniel 9:24-27; Revelation 2:22)
- It will begin with the signing of a peace agreement between Israel and her enemies (Daniel 9:27)
- It will end with the physical return of Jesus Christ to set up His kingdom on earth (Revelation 21)
- In between will be seven years of terror for those on earth -- the Great Tribulation (Daniel 9:24-27, Daniel 12)
- However, this will also be a great time of harvest for those that are upon the earth (Daniel 12:12; Revelation 7:9-14)
And so, we come to the main theme of the Rapture Survival Kit:
Many will be saved! All is not lost for them.
The Tribulation is one last chance for the unsaved to come to the Lord...
And MANY will!
